hi friends! it has been so amazing to be back in my home state of california and i am thrilled about relaunching my interior design business here. to celebrate, we are hosting a pop-up art show featuring:
* the paintings of sarah kinn, a dear friend and boulder based artist whose bright, colorful pieces are all over my house as well as in the homes of many of my colorado clients. she is coming out to berkeley to paint and create in the california sunshine and to share her work at our pop-up. a few of her gorgeous paintings…

* the quilts of my wonderful mother, ann rhode. ann has been creating and exhibiting her quilts in the bay area and beyond for the last five decades. she is known for putting a twist on traditional quilt patterns or creating her own blocks entirely. her singular color sense gives her quilts a unique, painterly feeling. some of her beautiful work:

* pots created by my darling childhood friend and berkeley native, jess parker. her graceful, yet straightforward pieces are inspired by “opposites similar to those demanded of physical strength…there exists a subtle tension between pure, controlled form and something looser and more organic.” some of her exquisite pots:

* soft, fiber sculptures by longstanding berkeley artist extraordinaire, sharon wheat. sharon is a multi-talented artist who is continually exploring creatively. she is a weaver, a photographer, a digital artist, a sculptor and a fiber artist. her textile sculptures will be shared at the pop-up. photos to follow.
